Car Rental - Damage Management Policy

What Happens When A Rented Car Gets Damaged By You?

Generally, our customers safely drive most of the time. But sometimes there may be minimal chances of minimal road accidents. It makes sense that there are no rules for automotive accidents or car damage. However, if such an unfortunate situation occurs, we need to know how we will deal with it and what actions we will take.

Our Damage Management Policy

Reservationcentre has made a special damage management policy that is intended to give you a clear insight into how the policy will work and your liability for any costs resulting from the damage done to the vehicle as a rental expense. Consequently, review our Terms and Conditions thoroughly for more details.

Types of Damages

  • Light Damage: Minor damages and losses to the automobile, including little scratches, dents, theft, or misplacement of car accessories.
  • Tyre Replacement:Damage to the tires that require replacement with a new tire
  • Total Loss or Damage: Extensive damage that makes the car no longer feasible for repair.
  • Serious Damage:Any damage that does not include minor damages, tire replacements, or total loss.

Damage Observed while Returning Vehicle

The inspection of the automobile is done in front of you as you return it.

We need to sign an invoice stating all the required formalities, including your acceptance and consent to any damage that has occurred. All the expenses will be covered by the Light Damage Administration Charge.

DAMAGE RECOGNIZED POST-RENTAL

We will conduct a rental car inspection after you finish renting our vehicle. In case we recognize any damage or harm to it, we will provide you with certain documents together with the return of the automobile form:

  • Images portraying the harm that happened with a list of expenses incurred.
  • An administration fee will be part of it (this can be either Serious Damage Administration costs for Tyres or Windscreens, based on what applies).
  • If the injury is significant or whole, it will include an engineer's fee for evaluating the injury (other than Tyre or Windscreen damages), besides compensating us for our lack of employing that automobile.

Claims

Please send us an email or notification within 14 days of receipt of the documents if you have any queries regarding the recognized damage or the respective cost.

In a situation where we do not hear from you after the first 14 days, we may send you an invoice that lists the total costs.
